SPIRITUAL GROWTH

READ THE BIBLE IN A YEAR

July 7th 9 AM

The Read through the Bible group is busy reading through the Old Testament.  They recently completed all the books of the Law and history.  Next are the books of wisdom and prophecy.  Coming up at the end of the Summer people will be able to join the group when we start the New Testament.  If you are interested to talk to Pastor Stu.  A chart will help you along the way and a book with small summaries will give you insight while you read daily on your own.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

This Week’s Topic:

“Focusing on 1 King 18, Sunday School will be focusing on confidence. Confidence is about being true to who you are despite the challenges that you might face. Being confident in ourselves helps us to form a better relationship with God and one another. This week, we will be learning about Elijah and how God can do the impossible.”

JUNE PARENT CUES

Parents, please take a June Parent Cue home with you. This month’s Parent Cues feature the life lesson about Confidence. When we are confident in ourselves, we build up the courage to stand for what is right and grow closer to God. Confidence helps us both to be a better person and a better disciple of Christ. The Parent Cues are great tools for you to go through with your children to help them learn and talk about God.

SUNDAY SCHOOL REGISTRATION AND PROCEDURES

New children are welcome all the time, and parents can register them with the teachers before or after Sunday School.  Sunday School ends shortly after the conclusion of the worship service.  Please pick up your child at the Nazareth door.
