FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH’S ANNUAL COOKIE WALK
After Black Friday, a few weeks later, comes Cookie Saturday. The Christmas holiday is incomplete without home made decorated cookies to share with family and friends! On a Saturday in early December, Faith Community Church of Franklin holds their annual Cookie Walk. The Walk begins promptly at 8:00am, and goes until noon. The line starts forming at 7:00am so It is best to arrive early for the best assortment – they sell out quickly!
This event has become a community holiday favorite. Church members, friends, and Faith Academy families bake their favorite Christmas cookie recipes. Open to the public, visitors choose whatever they like and pay the same price per pound for any variety. All kinds of cookies from many traditions and inspirations are displayed throughout the multipurpose room.
When you come in, we like to make it easier for you get into the holiday spirit. Buying Christmas cookies is never more fun than this. It is common to hear people say we have one of the best cookie walks in the area! While we pray for good weather, it doesn’t seem to slow many people down if it snows. We will accept cash, check or credit card. When you are finished eating all your cookies, we hope you will join us for one of our Christmas Eve Services at either 4:00pm (Community Worship Service) or 10:00pm (Choir and Carols).
