Pumpkin Festival

Pumpkins for Poverty

For the second year in a row, all our funds went to support Milwaukee County’s hungry through Hunger Task Force Farm based right here in Franklin.  This year truly was a one-day pumpkin extravaganza of fall-themed fun!

The 2017 FCC Pumpkin Festival featured the sale of hundreds of pumpkins.  Our pumpkins were grown locally and were either donated by local farmers or purchased at a reduced price to support our hope to increase our donation to the Hunger Task Force Farm.  Last year we raised $1,500 for the farm, and, this year, we almost doubled that total!!!

Here is a list of some of the the fun, family-friendly events that we all enjoyed together:
Children’s Games
Fall Craft Sales
Live Music
Cake and Pie Walks
Kiddie Hay Rides
Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest
Photos with the Giant Hunger Task Force Farm Tractor
Youth Group Food Booth
Face Painting
Quilt Raffle
Bounce House for the Kids
Food Drive for Hunger Task Force (non-perishable healthy breakfast items only)
and More!!!

The Pumpkin Festival was sure a lot of fun and a great outreach of our church to our community and city.
