An Update On Jerry Eisner

Jerry Eisner, a long-time member, musician, and leader of Faith Community Church is being treated for a lymphoma Cancer at the base of his tongue.  Jerry received the diagnosis in June and has immediately begun the process of starting to treat the fast-growing cancer. The good news is that the doctors are giving Jerry and Eileen complete confidence that the illness is curable within a short time.
The difficult reality is that the cost of this treatment and the loss of wages during the treatment period will significantly impact the family.  Many church families and friends have begun to support them by providing meals and other support.  In addition, a Go-Fund-Me page has been created for people to contribute donations to help defer the impact.

In addition, the youth and youth leaders of the church are designating 3 Miller Park Concession days for anyone to volunteer and help raise money for the Eisners.  Jerry was a Sunday School teacher for our teens and Confirmation sponsor a few years back.  Anyone is invited to participate.  The dates are August 11, August 25 and September 8 and have been designated as concessions days for Jerry.  Please see Jason Kierzek or Pastor Stu to get registered and trained to volunteer.
