Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at Faith Community Church is a fun environment for 6-12th graders to get to know God, themselves and others in a more meaningful way. They will participate in Sunday morning meetings, social and service-oriented activities aimed to build the community and build strong Christ followers. We encourage and aim for each middle school and high school age young adult to join us and build a deeper and more meaningful relationship to God and give them a circle of Christ followers to lean on in those difficult school years.

Friends and guests are always welcome to youth ministry activities and groups at any time an event is offered.

Sunday Morning

All children, middle school and High school age youth start each Sunday morning in worship.  Children and Middle school youth are dismissed to Sunday school groups for the remainder of the hour.  High school teens will continue to attend worship.

Confirmation

Confirmation is offered for older middle school and early high school students. Confirmation classes generally start in September and the youth are confirmed in May. For more information about Confirmation, please contact our church office.

Youth Safety Policy

Faith Community Church takes the safety and care of every youth as its highest priority. For a copy of the policy, please contact the church office at 414-433-0222 or office@faithcc.us.

Service and Missions Trips

We offer various forms of mission activities for our youth, such as serving food to the homeless at The Gathering, helping with Operation Christmas Child, and other opportunities that come along for local service.

Each summer our high school and college-age youth participate in a youth mission trip.

Recent Mission projects have included:

  • Alaska (2010), Anchorage home repair
  • Arizona (2011), Neighborhood Cleanup
  • Dakota Badlands (2012), Native American reservation home repairs
  • Orlando (2013), Spiritual Growth Conference
  • Nashville (2014) Wheelchair Ramp Building
  • Louis (2015) St. Louis Dream Center
