During the weeks leading up to Mother’s Day, the Missions Team at Faith Community Church is holding a baby needs collection for two organizations helping mothers with unexpected pregnancies and dealing with homelessness.
Carenet of Milwaukee is a pregnancy center that has been serving Milwaukee-area women since 1985. All of their services are free and confidential.
Halo, Inc. (Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization) is a homeless resource center that helps all homeless individuals and families in Racine County by providing emergency food, clothing, shelter, transitional and permanent housing, and supportive services. They help many homeless mothers and children on a daily basis.
The Missions team has placed several bins in the church lobby for the collection of necessary baby items for moms. diapers, wipes, baby clothing, and other baby items. The collection will run through Mother’s day, May 9th.
Let’s do our best to support these moms with resources and our prayers.
